Bary Molchadsky of AppYea INC.

Tell us about yourself?

45 years old, married + 2. Master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in finance and capital markets. I believe that any dream can be realized through perseverance and determination.

What lessons has being an entrepreneur taught you?

To be successful you have to work hard. The more you do, the more likely you are to make mistakes. You must not be afraid of mistakes, but you must not repeat them.

If you could go back in time to when you first started your business, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

In an R&D company, it is impossible to achieve a perfect product, so you have to strive to develop a very good product. start marketing and in parallel constantly continue to develop and improve the product and add new features.

Don’t expect quick results. Use patience and perseverance.

A lot of entrepreneurs find it difficult to balance their work and personal lives. How have you found that?

At first it was not easy, but once you learn to manage your time effectively you can get everything done.

Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?

The products that the company developed and continues to develop, are fundamentally different from the accepted way of treating sleep-disordered breathing.

Our unique technology will allow hundreds of millions of people all over the world to improve their sleep quality, health and quality of life.

What do you think is your magic sauce? What sets you apart from the competitors?

A strong management team that works together when everyone brings their professional contribution in their field. A unique technology invested in tens of thousands of hours of research by leading scientists in the field and strong international patents.

How have you found sales so far? Do you have any lessons you could pass on to other founders in the same market as you just starting out?

In order to enter a large market saturated with strong competitors, it is important to develop a different and unique solution that will provide a better solution to consumers.

Also, strong patents are very important.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far in your business, and how did you overcome it?

We had to raise capital to finance the development and the patents. As a startup, we had difficulty raising funds without a very significant dilution from venture capital funds.

We resolved the issue through a merger with a public company, which allowed us to approach financial investors and raise funding for the completion of our first product.

What do you consider are the main strengths of operating your business in Texas over other states in the US?

A strong economy and a unique environment for technology companies.

Are there any disadvantages of operating our business in Texas?

Since we are at the beginning of the road, we have not yet identified any shortcomings.

Texas has a pretty diverse population. How have you found the quickly changing demographics have impacted your business? Have you got new opportunities? Managed to expand your business into new areas?

Our company is global and therefore the demographic situation in Texas does’nt have a negative effect on the company’s activity.

It is often reported that, in Texas, politics and business are intertwined. Have you noticed this? Has it impacted your business?

At this stage we do not feel a connection between politics and business.

With rising prices across Texas (and the US as a whole) have you been impacted? Do you have a plan for dealing with inflation going forward?

The price of our products is accessible to all populations and due to the lack of competition resulting from patents and unique technology allow us to absorb the price increase and not pass it on to consumers.

What do you want to accomplish in the next 5 years with your business?

We bring a new and unique solution convenient for the user at a cost accessible to everyone. 5 years is a long time in startup terms, so our goals are ambitious.

We expect to be the gold standard in home sleep tests and a leading solution to the problem of snoring and sleep apnea. Also, analyzing user data using our algorithms will make it possible to predict important medical events and save users’ lives through early warnings of risk situations.
