He started as the Plant Engineer for URI at the Kingsville Dome ISR Uranium Central Processing Plant in South Texas. He later served as Plant Superintendent, Senior Engineer, Manager of Operations, and Vice President of Operations at URI, working on projects in South Texas and New Mexico. Mr. McCoig has been involved in all aspects of the uranium extraction process, including design, construction, operations, and reclamation. He has overseen the startup of multiple processing plants, including the Rosita CPP and the Kingsville CPP.

Mr. McCoig holds a BSc in engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas.

In his new role as the Director of Technical Services, Mr. McCoig will be responsible for providing engineering and technical support for all projects within enCore Energy’s production pipeline.
